Welcome to our 2026 program season! Whether you are looking for a weekly nature-immersion program or a high-energy summer camp, we offer outdoor experiences designed to foster curiosity, resilience, and a deep connection to the land.

Fall Programs

Mon, Weds, or Fri

9:30 am to 11 am

Walking - Age 4

$275 per family

Sep 14 – Nov 16 (10 weeks)

A caregiver-and-child experience focused on discovery. Adults and children explore together in a child-directed environment, fostering early connections to nature through play and community.

Tuesdays

9:30 am to 3:30 pm

Ages 4-8

$1,050 per child

Sep 15 – Dec 8 (13 weeks)

Designed for independent explorers ages 4-8. Adventurers hike further, build outdoor skills, and engage in creative group activities that nurture curiosity and a deep love for the land.

Thursdays

9:30 am to 3:30 pm

Ages 5-12

$1,050 per child

Sep 17 – Dec 10 (13 weeks)

For older or experienced forest schoolers ages 5-12. Trekkers tackle long-term projects, master outdoor skills like map reading, and embark on longer hikes to discover more remote forest areas.

High-energy summer fun for ages 4-12. Each week offers movement-heavy play, cooperative games, and outdoor skill development, following the children's lead to create an unforgettable summer.

Kindergarten

1-5 days, Mondays - Fridays

9 am to 3:30 pm

Ages 3-6

Pricing varies by schedule and after care choices

A nature-based program for ages 3-6. With a low 5:1 ratio, children build resilience, creativity, and problem-solving skills through hands-on exploration in our beautiful 40-acre forest.

A three-day adventure focused on the magic of maple syrup season! Children enjoy sap collection, campfire cooking, forest play, and storytelling while celebrating the arrival of spring.

OMFS Subsidy Program

Part of our mission at Oro-Medonte Forest School is to provide a program that is accessible to children in our community. We recognize that financial assistance is an important element to ensure that this forest school program reaches as many children as possible, in Oro-Medonte and surrounding areas.

Our organization provides a limited number of subsidized spaces to families in need of financial assistance. If you would like information on this subsidy, please email us at [email protected] and we will send you an application.
