Oro Medonte Forest School is seeking a warm, reliable, and reflective educator to join our team.
This part-time role involves leading and supporting mixed-age groups in a fully outdoor, child-led learning environment. Our programs are rooted in play, inquiry, relationship-building, and inclusive practice.
We are looking for someone who:
- Feels confident working outdoors in all seasons
- Values child-led, inquiry-based learning
- Supports children’s self-regulation with calm and steady guidance
- Encourages healthy risk-taking and resilience
- Works collaboratively within a small, supportive team
- Brings professionalism, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Experience in early childhood education, outdoor education, or a related field is an asset.

Summer 2026 | Outdoor Nature-Based Programs
We are also hiring Summer Camp Educators to join us for an exciting season of outdoor adventure.
Our summer camps are immersive, nature-based experiences filled with exploration, imaginative play, hiking, building, storytelling, and all-weather fun. We are looking for enthusiastic, engaging educators who can create a safe, joyful, and inclusive camp environment.
The ideal candidate:
- Thrives working outdoors in a dynamic environment
- Is energetic, organized, and confident leading group activities
- Builds strong, respectful relationships with children
- Supports inclusion and diverse learning styles
- Maintains high standards of safety and supervision
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
