The OMFS Forest Families Program offers an introduction to the forest school program.
Embark on a nature-filled adventure with our enchanting Forest Families Program designed for caregivers and children aged 2-4! Step into a world where learning and exploration intertwine amidst the beauty of the great outdoors.
At OMFS, we believe in the transformative power of nature, fostering curiosity, imagination, and a deep connection to the natural world. Led by experienced educators, our program provides a unique blend of play-based activities and hands-on experiences within the magical embrace of the forest.
As caregivers, you’ll have the opportunity to bond with your little ones, while creating a new community of like minded folks. Storytelling, circle time, and craft options, along with loose parts and creative provocations made available each week promise an abundance of joy and discovery.
Through our carefully crafted program, children will work towards building resilience and confidence. They’ll engage in sensory play, learn about local flora and fauna, and engage in crafts all which may help to instill a deep appreciation for the environment.

This program is designed for children with a caregiver, ages 2-4 and babies in arms are always welcome.
Contact us if your child is younger than 2 and you think this program may be a good fit.
Babies in arms are welcome with no cost.

Fridays:
September 29, 2023 – December 1, 2023 (10 week session)
9:30am – 11:00am
$250 for the session + $50/additional sibling
Wednesdays:
September 27, 2023 – November 29, 2023 (10 week session)
9:30am – 11:00am
$250 for the session + $50/additional sibling
