PA Day Forest Camp

On your child’s next PA Day, families may register their children for a day of immersion in the great outdoors. Children will be guided through a day of forest school with an emphasis on building useful outdoor skills, free play, nature based crafts and games. Our PA Day Forest School will excite your child’s love of the outdoors as we play, create, share and explore.

We ask the following questions in order to best place your child in a group that will suit their needs. In some cases, additional support may be required.
NOTE: Children MUST be independent with toileting to attend Forest School. OMFS Educators can assist/coach the children as needed.
How comfortable is your child spending time outside in all weather?*
At forest school we are outside all day with the exception of using the bathrooms and eating lunch indoors during inclement weather. Our indoor space is also used for thunderstorms and extreme heat/cold.
Does your child have any unique needs, diagnoses, or health concerns that we should know about or that may influence their time in the forest school program?*
If your child requires 1:1 support, or is not yet independent with toileting please note that here. Please also include any life threatening allergies here.
Does your child generally have difficulties following directions or staying with a group?*
Are you aiming to register more than one child? If so, please list their name here and complete a separate form for that child.
